July 15th - Carl Ehrenzellar, Smethwick headed 14 cyclists with the blessing of Bishop Bright on a pilgrimage to Rome. Taking part were Patrick James, Sparkhill, Charles Davidson, Nelson, Tony Diamond, Sparkhill, Andrew Fenwick, Dundee, Lee Hopley, Erdington, Michael Judge, Dalkeith, Thomas McGuire, Glasgow, Mary Meahan, Leicester, Danny Moore, Stetchford, Teresa Smith, Nelson, Jim Watters, Sparkbrook, Bernard Westley, Coventry and Vincent Worth, London.They Arrived at the Vatican on Thursday 13th August after cycling 1226 miles and received a blessing from Pope Pius 12th
